Electro-Tech Services (E.T.S) is based in central Christchurch, New Zealnd close to all major venues within the Christchurch city region. Being the ‘South Island’s largest supplier of moving head intelligent light fixtures’ it was no surprise that they added 24 x Martin MAC Viper Profiles to their inventory.
“We purchased the MAC Vipers to keep ahead of the competition and up to date with the latest technology,” said Stephen Walker, managing director of ETS. “We’ve noticed them a lot on riders coming through New Zealand. Many of the stage plans feature LEDs and a lot of fixtures just don’t cut through but the MAC Viper can.”
Stephen commented on the MAC Viper’s bright beam and excellent gobo selection as well as adding that the optics and colour system are superb.
Most of ETS’ moving lights are Martin with Stephen citing their reliability as a major reason for staying faithful to the brand.
“Martin fixtures are always really well made and easy to maintain,” he said.
As soon as they were delivered, the MAC Vipers were hired out to MJF Lighting to expand their MAC Viper inventory on the Edinburgh Military Tattoo being held in Wellington.
