One of the lighting world’s most esteemed and famous lighting designers Richard Pilbrow has been in Sydney lighting the classic musical My Fair Lady. The 2016 production recreates the 1956 Broadway production of My Fair Lady. Associates of the original design team came onboard for this production to help bring to life once again the stunning sets by Oliver Smith and glorious costumes by Cecil Beaton.
Richard Pilbrow studied the original lighting plots by Abe Feder (the man who invented the PAR lamp) and used modern technology to enrich the experience. Crucial to the rig were Martin Professional MAC Viper Performances and MAC TW1s with Richard commenting that the MAC Viper is an extraordinary instrument with great power and flexibility.
