White Night returned to Melbourne with Resolution X supplying our gear all over town.
First up, Res X lit Pyrophone Juggernaut using their new MA2 onPC command wing System as well as Martin MAC700 Profiles and Washes, Atomic strobes and ShowPro LED Quad Par IP65s.
Like something out of an enchanted forest, the Pixel Fruit tree Designed by Tim Newman beckoned; lit with ShowPro EX36 LED Floods. The trees in Carlton Gardens were beautifully lit by ShowPro battery powered LED Hercules which were fed data via a W-DMX G4 F1 Transceiver off the MA2 onPC command wing System .
Universal Principle was a mesmerising, conceptual sculpture that changed as it moved in and out of the light. The gorgeous and subtle Universal Principle was lit with Martin MAC Auras and controlled with an M2Go.
Referencing the legendary film and song by the late great artist formerly and forever known as Prince, French artist Pierre Ardouvin literally interpreted the works’ melancholic spirit to create an unforgettable sensory experience for White Night. Purple Rain was lit with ShowPro LED HEX36s, ShowPro LED Quad Par IP65s and Martin MAC2000 Washes in Airdomes.
Projection and lighting met as part of White Night’s Rhythms of the Night, with Claypaky Mythos and Sharpys along with ShowPro LED Quad Par IP65s used to illuminate the dome of the Royal Exhibition Building. These fixtures were also controlled wirelessly from the same MA2 onPC command wing System using another set of W-DMX G4 F1 Transceivers.
