Impress Audio & Lighting have steadily upgraded their inventory with some fabulous ShowPro products over the past few months and business is booming!
New moving head fixtures include eight ShowPRO Pluto 2000 Wash as well as four Pluto 250 LED Hybrid.
“We chose the Pluto 2000 Wash because we needed a fixture that was bright, which it certainly is, and also offers a decent zoom,” explained Aaron Barfoot, owner and director of Impress. “We do many school show hires where you don’t know what you’re going to walk into and you don’t know what stage size you’re going to get but with the Pluto 2000 you know you can hang it in the roof and it’ll provide the wash you require. They have a great selection of colours and are becoming very rider-friendly as a lot of people are purchasing them so you can get more of them if needed.”
The Pluto 2000 Wash moving head features seven 40W RGBW LEDs that can be individually controlled, rapid and silent Pan and Tilt movement and a 1:8 electronic zoom of 4.5°-36° with refined 16bit dimming.
The guys at Impress were so happy with their Pluto 2000 Washes they decided to invest in Pluto 250 Hybrid fixtures. These LED Hybrid moving heads have a 3-30° electronic zoom system that is fast and smooth.
“We didn’t have any spots in our hire stock and these were ideal,” said Aaron. “They also have great colours and are bright, plus they are light in weight.”
The Pluto 250 Hybrid also features (8+1) colour wheel, (12+1) fixed gobo wheel, (8+1) rotating glass gobo wheel, 5 facet prism and frost for plenty of options.
Sixteen Litebar H9 Hex-colour RGBAW+UV LED strip lights were also purchased recently with Aaron commenting that they are great for weddings, functions, stage designs and foyer lighting.
“We wanted a fixture to do wall washing that was bright but also had a very nice spread,” added Aaron. “You can have chase and blinder effects or saturated colour washes and the three independently controllable segments offer a range of looks. They are so easy to use: just put them on the floor, turn them on and they do the job.”
Housing nine 10W RGBAW+UV LEDs, the Litebar H9 offers several operating options – Master/Slave, Auto shows, Sound-Active and Manual operating modes, plus there is an optional IR6 infrared remote control available.
