One young man with infectious enthusiasm is Chris Barks who way back in 2011 when he was only 14 years old, began to build his own production business. The business started with a $1,000 investment for hobby/private use, with 2x 12′ speakers and a small format mixer to begin with. Lighting was then added to the setup, and after gaining some local interest and gigs, Chris began to finally get more equipment of higher quality.
Fast forward years of growth and expansion, education and more events, Chris has now built a reputation locally providing sound systems, lighting and FX to many public and private events in South West and Western Victoria.
Last year, Chris found himself working more and more on outdoor events for which he purchased ten ShowPRO FusionPar Pro H XII outdoor-rated Hex-colour (6-in-one) RGBAW+UV LED washlights with W-DMX receiver onboard.
Chris often uses the FusionPars to uplight scenery, particularly at weddings, and he soon realized how much time and labour would be saved if he then invested in a Wireless Solutions Whitebox F-1 G5, which delivers transmitter and receiver modes with a range of up to 700m.
His Whitebox F-1 G5 was delivered to him and went straight out the door again on its first job to the Monk & Sons, Australian Formula 500 Championship.
