Despite only receiving their brand spanking new ShowPRO Pluto 600 high-powered LED moving head Profiles last week ago, Seamless AV has already used them on four shows!
The photos show their eight Pluto 600 fixtures performing brilliantly at Silhouette Dance Studio’s twentieth-anniversary, end-of-year dance performance. Also in the rig were 15 x ShowPRO Pluto 4000s, 15 x ShowPRO Pluto 350s and eight Claypaky Sharpys, all controlled from an MA Lighting MA2 command and fader wing.
Seamless AV is the first production company in Australia to invest in the new Pluto 600 but they certainly won’t be the last!
“We bought the Pluto 600s to go alongside our fleet of Pluto 4000s and 350s,” explained Alex Moffat, Seamless AV’s Managing Director. “Our new Pluto 600s looked amazing in the show with vibrant colours, precision framing, great selection of gobos and animation wheel.”
With all the features one would expect from a mid-sized moving light, the Pluto 600 framing system sets the new standard in low-noise framing. Its full-featured effects system adapts to any space, theatre, live performance and event theming. Meeting the demands of today’s shows has never been easier with CMY, variable CTO, colour wheel, static and rotating gobos, prism, frost, iris and an animation wheel all housed in the Pluto 600 Profile, creating the ultimate look in any situation.
“They have an awesome zoom range of 7 to 50 degrees which worked perfectly for a large effect when used in the corner or back of the stage to fill the stage,” added Alex. “The colour mixing also is seamless and matches our existing fleet of fixtures. The 600w LED engine makes these units super bright and to get framing and an animation wheel at this price point was a bonus.”
Alex says that he is looking forward to receiving more Pluto 600s early next year when he gets another eight fixtures to add to his inventory. He will also be collecting 16 x Pluto Beams in the next week or so once they arrive in Perth.
“We love our relationship with Show Technology and the service from the Perth team is second to none,” he said.
